Shared Note: - The Adelaide Advertiser, 5 October 1940: "While undergoing solo night flying near Werribee last night Leading Air-Craftsman Rodney Elmore Muller received fatal injuries. His plane flew into high tension wires and crashed. The acident occ urred about half a mile north of Werribee at 8.55pm. LAC Muller who was training as a RAAF pilot was attached to No 1 Flying Training School at Point Cook. He was the second son of Mr Rupert Muller of 25 Seventh Avenue, St Peters. He was educated at East Adelaide Primary School and attended Norwood High School. He studied chemistry at Adelaide and later went to Melbourne where he travelled for two chemical firms. His father left for Melbourne last night."
