Leslie E. Boggs Claimed Today
Rites to Be Thursday For Second Ave. Man
Leslie E. Boggs, 61, died this morning in Holzer Hospital, where he h ad been a patient since Dec. 12. Coronary thrombosis was assigned as the cause of his death. The decede nt was born on Jan. 9, 1888, at Sandfork, to the late James A. and Matil da Waugh Boggs. On April 30, 1934, he was united in marriage to Miss Della Hazlett, w ho survives him. Their home is at 1159 Second Ave. Mr. Boggs retired from the GSI about a year ago, where he had been emplo yed for many years. He became a member of Ohio Chapel Methodist Church ma ny years ago. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Disabl ed Veterans, having served in World War I. Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Ora Davis of Northup, and three broth ers, Thomas, James, and Will Boggs, all of this city, as well as several n eices and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Ohio Chapel Church on Thursday at 2 o'c lock, with the Rev. E. C. Venz officiating. Burial will be made in Mou nd Hill Cemetery by Coleman Halley.
