The only Elisabeth Moir in the 1841 census of Scotland in Angus, was 40-yr Elisabeth (born circa 1801 in Angus) who was likely a widow (no husband was listed, although he could have been elsewhere) with three children at home: Ann, eleven 1830); Elisabeth, seven (1834); and Jean, three (1838).
The civil parish was Dun (which I think is Dundee); the address was Burnside. Elisabeth's occupation was that of linen H L W, which I think meant household laundry washerwoman. It wouldn't have been an easy life for her.
