Shared Note: - (Research):There are some significant discrepancies in names in the various sources. In the 1920 Census Homer's wife's name was Pearl V. and they had a son, Charles W., born in July 1918. (Homer's brother also had a son, Charles W., but born in 1914 and still living with them. so this was unusual in itself.) In the 1930 Census Homer's wife's name was given as Nella P. (same age as Pearl V.) and they had a son, Ralph H., born in 1918. Charles W. was not mentioned. Pearl Lusher, married to Homer Virgil Lusher, appears in Ancestry.com Trees and Communities called Nellie Pearl Lusher. Homer appears to be one and the same person (medical physician born in Ohio at the same time). And Pearl (aka Nella, aka Nellie) also appears to be one and the same. I have concluded, though, that Charles W. in the 1920 Census is one and the same with Ralph Harold. There was either a name change or, much more likely, a mistake in the transcription. (I have found quite a few mistakes in the Census data only resolved by matching several sources of data.) [Graham Shepherd]
