Millie forgot that her parents had been born in Switzerland! 1910 Union, Marshall County: Eddie and Millie must have decided to leave Mason Co. after the death of their son Norman in 1909. They moved to McMechan, West Virginia, where they remained for the rest of their lives. At the time of the move Helen was about 16 and Charles 14. Eddie was a carpenter for the railroad. Many of their neighbors worked for the railroad, the coal mines or the steel mill. 1920 Union, Marshall County: Eddie and Millie were now living in McMechan with their daughter Helen Hughes, their son-in-law Harry B. and grandson Edward, probably known as "Eddie." Their second son Charles had died the year before. Both sons had died young.
Biographical Notes	Note: According to his niece Miriam Ginther McKnight, Uncle Eddie "was tall, but not dark. He didn't look like the other Browns. He had a good sense of humor." Eddie has an interesting appearance with his high cheekbones and almond eyes. We have wondered whether it was a touch of native American or Viking! Mide Ginther McKnight said that "Uncle Eddie moved to Wheeling, West Virginia, and Uncle Miles boarded with them while he worked there. Miles became a member of the Masonic Lodge at Flushing."
Death	Note: Does anyone know when and where Eddie died? I assume it was in McMechen.
