Note: Horace was a member of his father's firm, Arthur Muston and Sons, Merchants or Sydney. They were concerned in the salt industry in Australia, including Salt Lake, Kangaroo Island S.A. from where the salt was conveyed two miles to the coast to Muston (named for the family) and from there shipped to the mainland for refining. These interests were still continued in the 1960s by the elder son of Horace, Arthur (Tony) Muston.
