By the 1910 census, their family had increased to five children: Guy 13, Frances 11, Carl W. nine, Mary M. six and Paul E. one and eleven months. Guy 39 yrs is now a jeweler, who owned his own shop. Guy and Mattie had been married for 15 years and had five children, all of whom are living. They were renting their home. Young Frances must have been confident and energetic because her occupation was "news girl on street."
