Mrs. Anna C. Nida, 77, of 1707 Franklin Park South, died in St. Anthony's Hospital Thursday after a brief illness. She was the wife of Chauncey G. Nida. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Thomas W. Brannan, Lakewood, Ohio, two sons, Jack E. Nida, of Columbus,and Col. Glenn E. Nida, Arlington, Va., and seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Robert Hoffman, Batavia, and two brothers, William and Robert Campbell, both of Gallipolis. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Schoedinger's funeral home, 229 E. State St, by the Rev. Robert E. Leake, pastor of St. Alban's Episcopal Church. Burial will be at Mound Hill Cemetery, Gallipolis. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Friday.
Mrs. Anna C. Nida, 76, of 1707 Franklin Park South, died early today in St. Anthony Hospital. A native of Gallipolis, O., she had been a Columbus resident since 1921. She was the wife of Chauncey G. Nida, now retired after more than 35 years with Standard Oil Co., of Ohio, and the mother of Jack E. Nida, newly-appointed manager of the local office of Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Beane. Mrs. Nida was a member of St. Alban's Church. She also leaves another son, Col. Glenn E. Nida, Arlington, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas W. Brannan, Lakewood, O.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two brothers, William and Robert Campbell, both of Gallipolis, and a sister, Mrs. Robert Hoffman, Batavia, O. Funeral services will be a 10 a.m. Saturday at the Schoedinger funeral home....
