Biographical Notes	14 April 1903 ‎(Age 25)‎ Note: Frank Wells was a partner with his father-in-law, Charles H. Bevan, and Charles Doddridge in operating the saw mill in Guyan township. On 14 April 1903 the boiler exploded killing Charles Bevan, Richard Houck and Rufus Houck. Others were severely injured in the blast. Frank was badly scalded in the accident but survived. In the early twentieth century scalds were very serious and painful afflictions. Frank must have had excellent nursing care to avoid infections. He lived until 1941.
