Ralph A. Rose (Shorty), age 87, of 2675 Latonia Ave., died Monday. He was the owner of Rose's Barber Shop for over 20 years. He was a member of Judson Baptist Church and Fraternal Lodge of IOOF of Dayton. Member of the W. Carrollton Masonic Lodge 737 F. and A.M. He is survived by his wife, Gladys; daughter, Mrs. Alberta Reeder of Springfield, Oh; 2 step-sons, Tom and Edward Moberley both of Dayton; 1 brother, Arthur of Waterloo, Oh; 2 grandsons, Phil Reeder of Springfield and Tom Reeder of New York; 2 great grandsons, Jason and Brian Reeder of Spring field; 1 great grand-daughter Kirsten Reeder of New York; 3 step grandchildren, Kim Fitzgerald of Canada, Jamie Nighswander and Jill Moberley, both of Dayton; numerous nieces and nephews. Services 1 P.M. Thursday at the R. L. Ullmer & Son Kettering Chapel, 4100 Benfield Dr. Rev. Bill Sturgeon officiating. burial memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Masonic services at 7 p .m.
