T. ORVILLE ROSE
T. Orville Rose, age 91, of Springfield, Ohio died Monday, May 10, 2004 at Eagelwood Care Center of Springfield. He was born June 28, 1912, a son of the late Jehu Charles Rose and Mary ‎(Craft)‎ Rose.
He was a member of the New Carlisle Church of the Brethren. He is survived by his wife of almost 70 years, Verna ‎(Barnhart)‎ Rose, whom he married on November 29, 1934; two daughters and son-in-law, Eloise K. and Roger Karns of Saint Paris, Ohio and Janet E. and Jim Detwiler of Willard, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Teresa and Roy Cosby, Dennis Karns, Marcia and Larry Callicoat, Jay and Tula Detwiler; Joel and Sandi Detwiler, Janine and Rev. Tim Dotson and Jon and Melissa Detwiler; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 13, 2004 at New Carlisle Cemetery with Rev.
