PARIS - Noah Robert Rose, 58, of Urbana route two, died Saturday in Piqua Memorial Hospital at 6:45 p.m. He had been hospitalized for two weeks and had been ill for three months. Born Nov. 6, 1909 in Champaign County, he was the son of Charles J. and Mary E. Craft Rose. He was married June 12, 1932 to Mildred Cornell. A farmer, Mr. Rose was a member of the Concord Methodist Church. He attended North Hampton High School. Survivors are his wife, Mildred; three daughters, Mrs. Beverly Ann Kiser of Urbana route two, Mrs. Carol Jane Crumley and Mrs. Donna Louise Moore, both of St. Paris; one son, Harold Eugene Rose of Urbana route two; three sisters, Mrs. Esther Reed and Mrs. Mabel Rhea, both of Urbana and Mrs. Harriett Stott of Neward; two brothers, Herman Rose of Conover route one and Orville Rose of New Carlisle and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Richeson and Wickham Funeral Home, St. Paris, with the Rev. Wilbur Riley, pastor of the Kingscreek United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
