Adolf is mentioned especially in law suits regrding inheritances. In one such case he sought the help of the council along with Hans Rothgeb of Queischeim. He seems to have moved to the village of Ottersheim the same year.

In 1661 the council considered the case again between Adolf v Nuiten and Hans Jakob Rothgeb; Margarete Nicholaus Fauth, a widow of Queischheim; and Katharine Rehling of Bornheim.

In later records, the council grants Adolf's request to release his property in the Landau district from assessment and taxes. He promised to pay the taxes due on his church property in Queishheim in 1662, where he apparently rented church property.
