Obituary
Mr. James Cram. Glencoe, October 30.
Mr. James Cram, who died suddenly on Friday last at the residence of his son, Mr. P.A. Cram, was the eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Cram, and was born at Kingsley 76 years ago. Later he moved to Moorak where his father worked for Mr. Percy Brown, of Moorak Station. He spent his young days around that district, but after marrying Miss Emma Corbell, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Corbell, of Port MacDonnell, he went to Furner to live, and later worked for Mr. Williams, of Mount Graham, as carpenter on the station. In 1902 he sold his place and took up land at Glencoe, where he lived until the death of his wife three and a half years ago. Since then he has lived amongst his family. Messrs. Will and John Cram, Glencoe, are brothers, and Mesdames H. Meyers, Millicent; S. Bailey, Moorak; R. Laslett, Mt. Schank; and W. Sparks, Yongala, are sisters of deceased. Six sons and one daughter survive him, viz.-John, Portland; Bert, Tooraw; Will, Glencoe East; and Clair, Mount Gambier. The daughter is Mrs. J. Dixon, of Mount Gambier. One son and one daughter predeceased him.
Note: James died at the residence of his son, Mr. V.A. Cram.
