Note: 1900: Salathiel aged 44 and his wife Alphonzene 44 years were living in Guyan township. They had been married for sixteen years. Alphonzene had had only one child, Stanley, who was 14 years old and attending school. Salathiel was a physician, and Stanley would one day become a doctor, too.
1910: The Williams were still in Guyan township, but in the household of Alphonzene's father Hugh Niday, who was 84 years old. Possibly he was not in good health, so they were caring for him. Salathiel and Alphonzene were by this time 54 years old and had been married for 26 years. Their son Stanley was 24. Also in the Hugh C. Niday household were Alphonzene's brothers Frank 42 and Hugh C. Jr. 34 years and his wife Bessie, who was 27. They had been married for only one year. Sarah Brumfield 21 years was their domestic servant.
