In less than a year, Nathaniel would marry Jane Nida.

After Nathaniel and Jane married, they went with Jane's parets to Iowa. It would appear as if they went via Pennsylvania because their three youngest children were born in Pennsylvania. In fact in June 1860 none of their children was born in Iowa.

Jane's name has either changed to Missouri, or Jane died and Nathaniel remarried Missouri. Missouri 26 years has $100 of estate and was born in Ohio. Nathaniel 29 years is a carpenter.

The children are James F. 6 ‎(Ohio)‎, then Catharine E. three, Nathaniel C. two and Lorenzo eight months. The youngest three children were all born in Pennsylvania.
