Biographical Notes Note: In the summer of 1860, Mary was caring for a nine-month-old baby boy, John R. Gothard, Jr., one of her daughter Rachel Gothard's twins. The other twin, Jeremiah, was at home with Rachel. I wonder how Mary fed baby John and whether he survived.
Death Schuyler County, Missouri, USA
Note: Apparently a date of 1 June 1860 appears in some DAR records. But this doesn't tally with the 1860 Census record. We did have a death date of 1899 but that now appears to be incorrect.
