Note: On Boxing Day 1908, Emily King, aged 44, married George Chapman, 51, at the residence of her father Mr J.W.W. King of Nairne. The witnesses were Emily Gum, "Assistant of Amyton" and Frederick George Haines, "Dealer of Nairne."
Note: George Chapman died of carcinoma of the stomach and liver. He was only 54 years old; and his youngest child, Thelma, was eleven years old. Her sisters cared for her.
Note: Emily is buried at Payneham Cemetery next to Elsie Elizabeth Haines, who was Thomas Craddock's sister. Thomas is buried next to his first wife (mother of his six children) at West Terrace Cemetery, Adelaide.
