Note: Carole J. FoglesongMULLENS. Miss Carole Jane Foglesong, 46, died Tuesday March 29 at Beckley hospital following a long illness. Born July 18, 1941 at Mason, she was the daughter of Sam J. and Jane Caldebaugh Foglesong of Mullens. Miss Foglesong was a teacher and librarian at Mullens High School year book advisor and sponsor for the Hi..for many years. She was a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and received her master's degree from Marshall University. She recently was named Teacher of the Year for Wyoming County and received the Distinguished West Virginia Award from Gov. Moore. Miss Fogleson was a member of the Mullens United Methodist Church where she served in many leadership capacities in both the local church and the Beckley District. She was a member of the church choir for more than ...years and was a lifelong resident of Mullens. Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Dan (Ellen) Fisher of Morristown, Tenn.; a brother Sam W. Fogleson of Somerset, Pa.; two nieces and two nephews. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Mullens United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald David officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Beckley. Friends may call today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Mullens United Methodist Church at Mullens and one hour prior to the services. Any donations of sympathy may be made to the Mullens United Methodist Memorial Fund. Pallbearers will be Sonny Phillips, Don Nuckols, Rick and Bob Staton, David Stover, Terry Echols, Ron Freeman, Charlie Stump and David King. Honorary pallbearers will be Carol Sue James, Beverly Taylor, Ann Kuhlke, Judy Walker, Tammy McGraw, Nancy Rinehart, Drema Shumate and Roger Waggoner.
