Note: Ida L. Cripps Burns, 93, of Uniondale, New York, formerly of Dumont, died Saturday (August 24, 1985). She moved to New York State 18 years ago. Surviving are two daughters Elizabeth Neville of Dumont and Francis E. Ryan of Uniondale; a son William D. of Washington Township; 5 grandChildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Her husband Robert J. Sr.died in 1961 and a son Robert J.Jr. died in 1977. Services will be tomorrow at 1 p.m. at the Frech Funeral Home, Dumont, with burial at Machpelah Cemetery, North Bergen. Friends may visit tonight from 7 to 9." The latter was an invitation to view at the funeral parlour. Ida had been from 1967 at Pilgrim State Hospital, West Brentwood, Long Island and from 1968 at the A.Holly Patterson Home for the Aged and Infirm at Uniondale, Lonr, Island, one of the 900 patients there and near to her daughter Francis Ryan. She suffered from hardening of the brain arteries and came at length to know nobody but remained a good and cheerful patient for the many years left to her.
