Note: In the 1930 census taken in Point Pleasant, Aurilla Heslop, 75, is now head of the household. Her home is valued at $10,100. At home with her are three children, Robert J., 45, Nan E., 35 and William, 30--all single. She has a servant named Bessie Marshall, 22.
Note: Aurilla "was a great, wonderful woman and a wonderful mother, always kinda heavy (more like Sadie). She moved to Point Pleasant when she married, but felt very homesick about leaving Mason. She made a bargain that she would stay for one year. By the time the year was up she didn't want to go back to Mason."
