Note: Mary S. Jarrott, Deceased.The following is a copy of the Last Will and Testament of said deceased: In the Name of the Benevolent Father of All. I, Mary S. Jarrott, do hereby make and publish this my last Will and Testament:- Item I. I desire that all my just and lawful debts be paid. Item II. I give and devise to my sister Sarah F. Ruttencutter, my grave yard lot in Beech Hill Cemetery in Pomeroy, Ohio. Item III. I give and devise to my brother, James W. Jarrott all of my title and interest in the old Homestead lot No. Five (5) on Center Street and ....Alley in Mason City Mason County, in the State of West Virginia: providing however that if my brother James W. Jarrott should die before me, then I give and devise the Homestead lot aforesaid to my sisters share and share alike. Item IV. To my sister Nancy E. Jarrott, I give and bequeath my surry, harness, household goods and personal effects, that I may own at my death, giving her hereby all of my personal estate, except monies, notes, bonds or other securities which I have hereafter definitely provided for through the appointment of a Trustee. Item V. To my nephew Daniel F. Morgan, I give and devise Lots number 74, 74, 76, 77 and South East half of Lot No. 78 in U.B. Horton's Addition to Pomeroy Meigs County, Ohio, and also all of my right, title and interest in the landings on the Ohio river at Pomeroy, Ohio, commencing 150 feet above the mouth of Kerr's run at low water mark and extending up and with low water mark to the township line ....Salisbury and Sutton Township excepting a concurrent right of joint use in a part thereof held by the Coalridge Salt Company. Item VI. I do hereby constitute Moses Morgan of Jackson, Ohio, a trustee and with the following trusts, to wit: I give and bequeath to my said trustee all of the monies, notes, bonds andf securities which I may own at my death charged with the following trust: my said trustee shall hold the same intact as a trust fund and shall have full power and authority to invest and re-invest the whole or part thereof from time to time, during the lifetime of my friend, Julia A Hirder[difficult to be sure of her last name; could be Snider], and he shall pay all of the income or interest accruing from said trust fund to my friend Julia A. ..der (except such as may be necessary to pay expenses of the trust or administration so long as she lives, it being my wish that Julia A. ..ider shall have and enjoy the use of such fund, less the cost of administration during her natural life. After the death of my friend Julia A. ..der, I desire that said trustee shall as soon as practicable distribute the same in the following manner, after the payment of the costs and expenses of administration.-- 1. To my sister, Martha L., Morgan, I give and bequeath the sum of ($2000) Two Thousand Dollars. 2. To my sister Sarah F. Ruttencutter, I give and bequeath the sum of ($500) Five Hundred Dollars. 3. To my sister Aurilla J. Heslop, I give and bequeath the sum of ($200) Two Hundred Dollars. 4. To my brother, James W. Jarrott, I give and bequeath the sum of ($200) Two Hundred Dollars. 5. And to my sister, Nancy E. Jarrott, I give and bequeath all of the rest and residue of said trust fund remaining, and I make my sister Nancy my residuary legatee, granting to her all of the personal estate I may own and not specifically bequeathed heretofore. Item VII. I do hereby appoint said Moses Morgan of Jackson, Ohio, the Executor of this my last Will and Testament ...be not required to give any bono, either as Executor or trustee, and I further direct that no appraisement nor inventory of my estate be made, and ask the Probate Court to dispense with the same. In Witness Whereof, I do hereby acknowledge this to be my last Will and Testament, and do hereby sign the same on this 6th day of April A.D. 1900
