Note: MRS. BERTHA MCCOMAS--Seventy-eight yrs. old, 324-1/2 Twenty-ninth Street, died yesterday morning in Huntington hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30A.M. tomorrow at Chapman's Mortuary. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cem. in Gallia Co., O. Mrs. McComas was a member of the Baptist Church in Gallia Co. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. [should read Miss] Dora Wilcoxen of Huntington & Mrs. Eliza Poling [child by John McComas born 14 Nov. 1898] of Ona, w.Va., six grand-children, Mrs. Don Higginbotham, Herbert Poling & Mrs. Damron Shifflette[ a step-daughter by McComas] , all of Huntington. Lowell McComas [stepson] of Proctorville. Harold Poling of Ona & Mrs. Fern Black of Barker's Ridge, 11 gr-grandchildren, & several nieces & nephews. The body is at the mortuary. Pallbearers will be C.C. Kirtley, F.M. Petry, joe Meba, W.O Rowsey, P.W. Higginbotham & Harold Morrison. The Rev. Carl Vallance will officiate.
