Note: According to the Marriage License Application forrm, Dan was 25 years of age and Charlene was 22 years old. Dan was a Grocery Clerk and Charlene a Clerk. The application also designated "That neither of said parties is an habitual drunkard, epileptic, imbecile or insane, and is not under the influence of any intoxicating beverage or narcotic drug. Said parties are not nearer of kin than second cousins, and there is no legal impediment to their marriage.
The marriage was solemnized by the Rev. Paul M. Niswander of Gallipolis at Grace Methodist Church on 27th day of October 1953.
