Note: We find from Carroll's draft registration for World War One, that he was tall, had blue eyes and brown hair. He was born in Crawley, West Virginia. His present trade: Candidate O.R.C. He was employed by the U.S. Government at 75 Bery Harrison [which was difficult to read and doesn't make sense].
At the time of the 1930 census Carroll was a salesman for Frigidaire. He was 37 years old, and his wife Ruth E. was 30. They had two children at home: Alexander seven and Margaret D. five. They paid $26 a month rent for their home. They had a radio.
