Sarah must have been married before because there were two young men, who were identified as "grandson," living there: Johnny Woods, 35, and Mark Woods, 23. They also were born in Pennsylvania.

1900 Patton Tp., Centre Co., Pennsylvania: Sarah Ackley, "mother," was living with her son and only child, Edward, and his wife, Catherine. Edward had been born in June 1852. Sarah was a widow who had had one child who was still living. Edward worked in a bank.
