Note: Ruth Benoy, born in 1900, said, "I'll never forget in my early life my great-aunts, Mary [Bird] and Martha [Brown].
She thought that two of Grandpa Brown's (Miles H.) brothers lived in Huntington.
Great-grandpa Brown was quite a character. He deeply loved his sister Minnie. She called her nephew Major "John" because she said she always thought of a horse when she heard "Major." Ruth said that Minnie didn't marry, but had a twin who did.
Ruth also mentioned "Aunt Jo" or Josephine, who could be the wife of Mel Brown, Miles H. Brown's brother.
