Elmer Boggs GALLIPOLIS - Elmer Boggs, 66, a resident of Rt. 1, Gallipolis, died at 8: 45 a.m. Saturday at his home. He had been in failing health the past nine months. Mr. Boggs was a retired maintenance foreman at the Kyger Creek power plant, having served the plant 22 years. Prior to his employment at Kyger Creek, Mr. Boggs was employed by the Keener Sand Co. for 18 years. He was born December 13, 1911, in Gallipolis, son of the late William E. and Donna Leslie Boggs. He was twice married. His first marriage was to Mildred Shelton on May 26, 1939, at Gallipolis. She preceded him in death in May, 1962. His second marriage was to Marie Maddy on Nov. 27, 1966 at Gallipolis. Also surviving is an adopted daughter, Kathy Havens, of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
