Mrs. Boggs, 86, Claimed On Monday

Mrs. Gertrude Boggs, 86, wife of James Boggs, Chillicothe Rd., died at 4p.m. Monday in the Gallipolis Medical Center Hospital.
She was born near Kerr Station on April 14, 1881, daughter of the late A.J. and Eliza Kincaid Langdon.
Surviving besides her husband is one son, Thurman Boggs, Rt. 2 Bidwell, and a daughter, Ethel, at home.
Two sisters and one brother survive, Mrs. Ed Raynor, Chillicothe Rd., and Mrs. D. W. Rees, Columbus, and Ernest Langdon, Gallipolis. Two grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive.
Mrs. Boggs was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, at the McCoy Funeral Home in Vinton under the direction of Rev. Joseph C. Chapman.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
