Shep's Place Family Tree

The Fidlers emigrated to Australia on the ship "Susannah", which arrived in Port Adelaide on 16 May 1849. William and Elizabeth travelled with George, nine, Robert, five and Elizabeth, two.

Elizabeth Shepherd Fidler's brother John and his family would also emigrate later in the year.

The Fidlers lived on the corner of Fidlers Lane and Wellington Road. They owned the original post office at Wistow.
