Shep's Place Family Tree

By 1891, when she was fifteen years old, Ada was a pupil at a large private school in Reading, Berkshire. Elizabeth Susan Lacy was the schoolmistress.

In 1901 Ada was a school teacher, aged 25 years old. At the time of the census, she was a visitor at the home of William and Miriam Knill and their daughter Minnie ‎(32 years)‎. William was the assistant superintendent of the post office in Exeter. We do not know where Ada was teaching.
