Note: Peter Parish died sometime between June 1880 and June 1900. The 1900 federal census was taken on the 5 June in Huntington, West Virginia where Lavina, aged 67, and her son Charles, aged 27, lived. Charles was a carpenter, and they owned their own home.
Life had taken a turn for the worse in the 1910 census. Levina, aged 80 years, was the Home for the Aged in Columbus, Ohio. She said that she had been born in New York, her father in Connecticut and her mother in Pennsylvania. The saddest thing is that she said that she had no children. She must have had dementia.
