Gladys L. Rose, age 97, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, Sept. 10, 1998 at Walnut Creek Nursing Home. A member of the Judson Baptist Church, West Carrollton. Preceded in death by her husband Ralph A. Rose, a brother, Horace Carr. She is survived by 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Thomas Moberley of Vandalia, and Edward and Emma Moberly of Trotwood; step daughter, Alberta Reeder of Springfield; 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Jill Moberley of Dayton, Jamie and Louis-Malizea of Alburquerque, New Mexico, Kim and Gary Fitzgerald of Waterloo, Ontario, Tom and Karen Reeder of New York, and Phil and Carol Reeder of Indiana; 3 great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Jason and Bryan Reeder; and sister-in-law, Addie Carr of Dayton. Funeral service 1 P.M. Tuesday at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton. Rev. Peter H. Courlas, Jr. officiating. Burial Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Judson Baptist Church.
