Miss Mary Davis Dies In Hospital

Miss Mary Davis, 72, a life long resident of Harrison Twp. died at __:55 p.m. Monday a the Holzer Hospital. She entered the hospital Wednesday and suffered a stroke Sunday night.
Miss Davis was the daughter of the late David D. and Catherine Griffith Davis. She was born in the home on Smokey Row where she lived all her life. She was born May 5, 1880. She was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church and the WSCS.
She is survived by two brothers and one sister, John Davis and Dan Davis who live in the home neighborhood and Mrs. Leslie ‎(Rachel)‎ Siders, Northup. One brother, Reese Davis, proceeded her in death.
The Rev. Billy Grabeel will conduct the funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Asbury Church. Burial will be made in Tyn Rhos Cemetery under the direction of the Elliott-Sanders Funeral Home. The body is at the home of her brother John Davis where friends may call until time for the funeral.
