Biographical Notes |
Note: By 1880 Russell Keeler 47 years and his wife Anna 43 lived in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, where Russell was a preacher. They had five children at home: Ella 20, Russell V. 13, Anna C. 11, Myrta M. nine and Grace three years old. It would be interesting to know what the Keelers did between 1880 and 1900 when Anna went to Burma and married William P. Mawson. It would seem that mother Anna had died during that ten year span because she does not appear with the family. Only father Russell F. 67, a preacher, and his three daughters, Ella 40, Myrta 29 and Grace 23 are living at home. Grace was attending school (college).
By 1910 Russell and wife Anna, both 42 years, lived in Barberton, Ohio. Russell is a mail carrier, and they have two young daughters, Alma ten and Ruth six.
In 1920 Russell V. Keller and his wife Anna, both 52 years, are living in Barberton, Ohio, where Russell is a mail carrier. They own their home. Alma 20 and Ruth 16 are at home. Alma is a student at college.
Occupations of their neighbors include brass finisher in valve works, horseshoer, laborer, moulder in concrete works, mixer in match factory, boiler maker, dry cleaner and carpenter.
