Shep's Place Family Tree

Later, in the 1900 census we see that both Elnathan and Mary J. were born in 1838, one month apart. They had been married for 43 years. Mary had had five children all of whom were living. Elnathan's parents were born in West Virginia ‎(then Virginia)‎; Mary's were born in Virginia ‎(father)‎ and Ohio ‎(mother)‎.

By 1910 Mary had died. Elnathan was 74 years old and widowed.
