By 1891 two more sons had been born to the Kauntzes. Edward was born about 1882; and Charles was born about 1884. Both Edward nine years and Charles seven years were scholars; in fact they had a governess who instructed them at home.

It is possible that Henry B., their first born, was in a boarding school.

In 1901 we find Henry Booth Kauntze 23 years in Edinburgh, Scotland where he is a veterinary student. He was boarding with Helen Pratt, a Fifeshire woman, and her daughter.
