Note: On December 10th in 1813 Eustace and Mary Fosbrook were married in England. Shortly thereafter, the couple went to Bengal where Eustace was to be a missionary. Eustace's brother Peter Carey had died in July 1814. "And this was the first news that [William] Carey had to give Eustace upon his arrival in Calcutta..."
Mary and Eustace had five children of whom only two lived to maturity. Their first son, William Fosbrook Carey, later had nine children; so there should be some descendants.
Eustace and Mary returned to England in 1824 to live at Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead. Mary died in England five years later in Leicester.
In 1834 Eustace married Esther Cook in Highgate. He was then 43, and Esther was 33 years old. They had two children, a boy and a girl. Their son Eustace Jr. was born in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia.
By 1855 Eustace was living in Camden Town in north London. He died there on the 19th of July 1855, aged 64 years.
Eustace is buried in the old part of the Highgate Cemetery.
