Said that John Roadarmour, with his father Jacob and family, moved from Shenandoah in 1798 to Greenbrier Co. till about 1803 when they came to Gallia Co., along with Christian Syler and Abraham Hutsinpiller. First in Gallipolis to volunteer for War of 1812. John Roadarmour was a common pleas judge for Gallia County from 1847-49. According to Hardesty's History of Gallia County, John R. killed the last panther seen in Harrison Township.
