Vintner and his wife Emily died in the 1849 cholera plague leaving their three children as orphans.

In 1852 we find the following records:
Isaac S. Clark, administrator of the estate of Vintner Burnett. First account for settlement--The remainder in his hands of $83.87.

The final account of Joshua Lewis, administrator of Vintner Burnett's Estate on the 31st of January 1860. Balance due the Estate $25.43.
