Note: in the 1840 federal census "Venton" Burnett was living in Harrison township in Gallia county with his wife, one son under five and one daughter under five plus a woman who was aged between 60 and 70, who could have been his mother or mother-in-law.
Vintner and his wife Emily died in the 1849 cholera plague leaving their three children as orphans.
In 1852 we find the following records: Isaac S. Clark, administrator of the estate of Vintner Burnett. First account for settlement--The remainder in his hands of $83.87.
