Note: Granddaughter, Jean: "Grandpa Shepherd always had a museum room in his house, where he kept snakes in bottles, stamps, coins, stone and aboriginal artifacts. When Grandpa died, Uncle Edmund burned everything." Jean's father, Clem Shepherd, "had lots of old coins," which he passed on to his youngest son Ken.
Jean said that "Grandpa was tall (about 5'10") and thin, much taller than Grandma."
Grandson Alan: "Henry owned three houses in a row on Wilpena Terrace, Kilkenny. He rented two to his sons, Clem and Rupert. He charged them rent."
