Note: 1850: Hamilton Parr and his first wife Margaret had a large family in Letart where Hamilton was a farmer. Their children were Nathan 16, Amanda 14, Isaac 13, Isabella 10, Rebecca nine and Mary six.
1860: Margaret had died in 1856; and Hamilton was living with three of his daughters, Isabella 21, Rebecca 18 and Mary 15. His real estate was valued at $17,500 and his personal estate at $500.
1870: Hamilton, 64, and his second wife Cynthia Smith 45, had four children: Eva ten, Nancy "Nannie" eight, James H. six and Lola four. Hamilton's property was now worth the large sum of $20,500 and his personal estate at $3,000.
