At Freeman-street Chapel, on the 30th March, by the Rev. T. Q. Stow, Mr. Joel Horwood, jun., of Hindley-street, to Emma Mary Kentish, of Walkerville.

The historic Great Northern Mine at Herberton in Queensland still has intact a tandem steam-powered air compressor built by J. Horwood, Bendigo Ironworks.
