In 1880 Eliza J. Clark was farming in Adair Co., Morrow district of Missouri. She was 56 years old and born in North Carolina. Her father was born in Virginia and her mother in North Carolina. Helping her on the farm was her son Don E., 18 years old, who had been born in Missouri.

In June 1900 Eliza J.was living in the Liberty district of Adair County with her daughter Sarah J. Cambell's family. She was 76 years old.
