Military Service Note: On Peter Pritchett's tombstone at Mound Hill Cemetery his military service is acknowledged: Co. B 193 Ohio Infantry. In the special 1890 census of the survivors and widows of military people in the War of Rebellion, Peter B. Pritchett served for five months and ten days. His incapacity, or disability incurred, was a diseased heart.

Note: Peter Blazer Pritchett died at the Dayton Soldiers Home, presumably in Dayton, Ohio. His body was returned to Gallipolis where Geo. J. Wetherholt & Sons were the funeral directors. His age at death was 79y 3m 4d. The cause of death was emphysema of gall bladder.
