Biographical Notes	Note: Living in Barnesville, Ohio, at the time of 1860 census Casper was a shoemaker aged 48 years, who owned $1,200. of real estate and $700. of personal estate. His wife Mary 40 years had a large family at home: Christian 18, Rosemarie 16, Isaac 14, Catherine 12, Barbara ten, Sarah eight, John six, Eve four and Margaret two. They lived next door to the Tisher family. Alemieda Tisher would in years to come become the second wife of Christian. In the 1870 federal census, Kasper Eisenbarth's name was spelled "Caspir Izenpbr". Kasper 49 years old and wife Mary 44 years were farming in Ohio township, Monroe Co., Ohio. Their children were Isaac 24, Sarah 18, John 15, Ephraim 12 and Lewis nine. Son Carl Christopher had obviously gone off to seek his fortune elsewhere.
