He purchased another 23 acres from Snodgrass in about 1809. He purchased 33 more acres about 1823. On his death this 153 acres descended to his daughters ‎(D.B. 29, p. 440, Botetourt County, Virginia)‎. In 1846 "Susan Niday" had a life interest ‎(dower)‎ in 5.8 acres. This would indicate that Susan was the wife of Abraham.
