Note: On the marriage certificate for marie Ellizabeth Croft, we find that she is 19 years old and her residence at time of marriage was 43 Clonhook ‎[or Clouhook]‎ Road. Her father, Alfred James Croft, was a dock foreman. Her husband, Cecil Ernest Lee Skitch was 24 years old, also residing at 43 Clonhook Road. His rank of profession was "on H.M.S." His father's name was Ernest William Skitch, a school inspector. They were married according to the rites and ceremonies of the Church of England at St Faith's church in the parish of Stoke Newington in the County of London by J.V. Pixell.
