Biographical Notes

In 1841 William 40, an agricultural labourer, and his daughter Ann eleven lived in South Petherwin together.
In 1851 William was a servant/ag lab. on the property of Mr. Prout in South Petherwin while his daughter was a general servant in the Hamm household in South Petherwin. She would soon marry James Sloggett and move to Australia.
