A practicing lawyer in Ironton in 1910, Jed and Ella had been married for 17 years and had no children.

By 1920 Jed Bibbee was living in Ironton, where he probably was living in 1900, with his wife Ella. Jed had his own law office.

They lived on Fourth Street between the Fowlers and the Allfrees.

Ella had died before the 1930 census. The census found Jed ‎(65)‎ as a "visitor" at the residence of John and Sarah Daugherty. John's parents were born in Northern Ireland. Two other visitors, along with Jed, were Dewey Draymond, a commercial salesman aged 31; and Charles Hutsinpillar, a merchant aged 80. I wonder if this was a social visit, or whether some commerical scheme was being contemplated.

Jed died the next year in 1931 aged 66 years.
